Macter wins Super League Cricket Tournament 2008
KARACHI : Macter International (Pvt.) Ltd. won the Super League Cricket Tournament 2008 by defeating BASF (Pvt.) Ltd. in the final, played on Thursday. Macter after winning the toss invited BASF to bat. BASF team was all out after scoring 100 runs in 23 overs. Ali Iqbal took four wickets for eighteen runs. Macter completed the target in 13.2 overs without any loss of wicket. The opening batsmen Ali Iqbal and Nadeem Siddiqui scored 66 and 23 not out, respectively. Man of the match was Ali Iqbal, while Nadeem Siddiqui was declared as player of the tournament.
