Macter
inks agreement with Customs Cricket Academy
to coach its cricket team.

Karachi:
Macter International Private Limited,
a leading pharmaceutical company
in Pakistan, has acquired the services
of the Customs Cricket Academy (CCA)—the
only cricket academy in the country recognized
by Pakistan Cricket Board—to coach
and develop its cricket team for participation
in corporate league matches.
An
agreement was inked between the two organizations
for this purpose which was
signed by Asif Misbah, Director, Macter
International and CCA’s administrator,
Fasih Siddqui on Friday, 20 July.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s chief
selector, Salahuddin Sallu attended the
signing ceremony on special invitation
from Macter. Former test cricketer and
chief coach of CCA Jalaluddin was also
present on the occasion.
The ceremony was attended, among others,
by Macter’s Managing Director,
Swaleh Misbah, Head of Commercial, Haroon
Ahmed Malik, Head of HR, Muhammad Faisal,
Communication Manager, Naufil Shahrukh
and members of Macter’s Cricket
Organizing Committee, Waheed Malik, Ali
Asim, Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui and Saeed
Iqbal.
Macter’s director, Asif Misbah
has reiterated that Macter is committed
to the professional as well as personal
well being of its employees and will
continue to provide them with opportunities
of sports, health and fitness so that
they could lead a quality life and become
an efficient member of the society.
Following
the agreement, the CCA held trials for
the selection of Macter’s
cricket team on Sunday, 22 July in which
a large number of employees took part enthusiastically.
32 players were selected finally to represent
A and B cricket teams of Macter International.
