Dosage:
Adt: Reflux oesphagitis: 30mg once
daily for 4-8 weeks. Duodenal
ulcer; 30mg once daily for 4
weeks. Gastric ulcer: 30mg once
daily for 8 weeks. peptic ulcer
not responsive to conventional
therapy; 30mg once daily for
4 weeks. Children: Not recommended.
Precautions:
Exclude malignant
disease before And during treatment.
impaird renal
funcation Monitor patients on long
term therapy, Pregnancy lactation.
AdverseEffects:
Headache, Gl upset,
Skin rashes, paraesthesia, dizziness,
somnolence,
insomina, arthralgia, myalgia,
increased risk of gl infections,
increase in liver enzymes.
Indication:
Oesophageal reflux
disease, reflux oesophagitis, long-term
management
of acid-reflux disease, Duodenal
And benign gastric ulcerincluding
those complicating NSAID therapy.
Duodenal ulcer asociated with H.
Pylori, Z-E syndrome. prophylaxis
of acid of aspiration during general
anaesthesia.
