imparts training on ethical sales practices
to its new
team members Karachi: Macter International Private
Limited organized a series of sales
training workshop at Karachi and Lahore
in September in the wake of its recent
inductions in the sales team. The workshops
were also attended by Product Managers,
Regional Sales Managers and Sales Managers
of the South and North region. Conducted
by Dr Tahseenul Haq, Sales Training
Manager, the workshops were
titled “How to Represent an Ethical
Pharmaceutical Firm?”, and were
addressed by Haroon Ahmed Malik, Macter's
Head of Commercial, as well as other
senior officials including heads of
marketing, Qasim Shaikh and Dr Khalil
Mukaddam, and Anwaar Ahmed Malik, Head
of Compliance and Development. Haroon Ahmed Malik, while addressing
the participants at the workshop held
in Karachi stressed upon the need for
self-accountability in each and every
aspect of their lives and asked the
participants that they should see that
whatever they are doing for their family
and themselves was done in a better
and meaningful manner. He was of the
view that we should always plan our
active life on the principles of self-accountability. In
his training sessions, Dr Tahseenul
Haq, Macter’s Sales Training
Manager covered the various issues
related to communicating with doctors
and planning the objective of sales
visits and its patterns of discussion.
He made the participants practice the
effective delivery of their message
in the doctors' clinic and the ethical
ways to pounce at the opportunities
provided by the customers in the form
of various challenges. Seventeen Product Managers and Sales
Managers attended the workshop at Karachi,
whereas the Lahore workshop was attended
by 24 Regional and Sales Managers of
the North region. A separate workshop
was held for the Regional Sales Managers
of the Southern region from 19-21 September.
