Indicated in:
Anxiety mixed with depressive symptoms
Generalized anxiety disorders
Panic disorders

Pharmacokinetics:
- Rapid absorption
- Peak serum levels: 1-2 hours
- Half life: 12-15 hours (Intermediate half life)
- Primary route of excretion: Kidneys
- No interaction with Cardiovascular drugs

Contraindications:
Patients with known hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines.

DOSAGE:
START 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg BD/TDS
MAINTENANCE 0.5 mg T.I.D
MAXIMUM 4 mg/Day
DISCONTINUE Slowly
