Cycle Meeting – July 2006

Misbahuddin Khan, President Macter International Private Limited, has stressed on the need of ethical business practices and reminded the Macter team to follow the principles of honesty as enshrined in Islam and strive to maximize the organization’s potential for higher productivity. He was addressing a gala dinner hosted at Bahria Auditorium, Karachi, during the three-day Cycle Meeting of the first quarter of 2006-07 held from July 10-11 in Karachi.

The meeting was organized on the theme of “TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More” and was attended by more than 400 of Macter’s countrywide sales and marketing team.

The President appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Macter team at all levels that, he said, had enabled the organization grow into one of the leading national pharmaceutical firms in Pakistan that was contributing in the healthcare services of the country with quality manufacturing of drugs.

Speaking on the occasion, Macter’s Managing Director & Head of Supply, Swaleh Misbah presented an overview of the organization’s history, current strengths and technological edge over competitors with the best sterile facility in Pakistan, and future plans of the organization.

Earlier, Macter’s Head of Commercial and Director, Haroon Ahmed Malik welcomed the meeting participants in his address and elaborated upon the event theme.

The first session of the Circle Meeting was followed by a Gala Dinner and a colourful team-building activity show conducted by celebrated comedian and TV artist, Hanif Raja.

The sessions on the second of the Circle Meeting featured speeches by Haroon Ahmed Malik, Head of Commercial, and heads of marketing, Qasim Shaikh and Dr Khalil Mukaddam. Besides, a Dars-i-Quran was delivered by Muhammad Faisal, Director Human Resources.

An extensive quiz and detailing session was the main feature of the third and concluding day.
