Experts stressed the role of family physicians for better healthcare

KARACHI- Family physicians, being the front liners in our healthcare system, should constantly update their knowledge and skills for better healthcare delivery to the masses, said Dr Salim Ilyas, Director of Professional Development Centre (PDC) of Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS). He was addressing the inaugural session of National CME Series 2010.

Dr Zakiuddin Ahmed, Medical Director-Macter, stated that this series was intended for ultimate benefit to the patients by updating the knowledge of family physicians about the medical issues that are most commonly encountered by them in their clinical practice.

The program was addressed by Prof Muhammad Masroor, Dr Siraj ul Salkain, Dr Rana Qamar Masood and Dr Iftikhar Ahmed.
